Greetings from London! | Greetings from London, where I am spending a week and a half to focus on making progress in writing my next book. (More below) Being here also gives me a chance to meet some of our UK friends – and enjoy one of my favorite places in the world! |

| I find London a unique place because it has so much history and, at the same time, a modern feel to it. You see 2,000-year-old structures sitting right beside beautifully designed modern skyscrapers. London honors history, but it is not beholden to it. I love the contrast between these ideas, walking through ancient little streets that open up into random little parks, and all the comforts that contemporary life affords us. I find it a great place to reflect – and the eight-hour time zone difference to California means I get uninterrupted time from work in the mornings! :)

There is so much in my head these days I don't know where to start… Let's take it by pieces. |
| Yay for September September was a great month because I got to meet some of our Orlando friends in person. I am grateful for the fact that, more and more, the world is returning to in-person activities. Virtual events are great – but it is really great to see people in person. |
| And Yay for October In fact, if you are around London, Maidenhead, or Poole/Bournemouth this week or the next, come say hello! (See where I will be at the bottom of this email). It will be great to see old faces again and meet people in person I have only met online, like Lawrence from Poole Christian Spiritualist Church, where I'll be this Sunday. Very exciting! |

| | Some memories from Orlando on the left. UK planned schedule (subject to change) on the right. | And Halloween… It’s October -- and Halloween is around the corner.
|
My kids love Halloween, and our small front yard in San Diego is ready for October 30: there are spiderwebs galore, skeletons, and, of course, a couple of floating ghosts. |
And that’s the thing about Halloween I find so interesting: we don’t think much about it, but at the end of the day it is an indirect and misguided celebration of mediumship and the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds.
|
For a little bit more on my take on Halloween, check this 2-minute video our friends at iSpirit made in 2016. (My choice of outfits is questionable but, in my defense, I was really jetlagged!.) |
| | | What I am writing I am picking the second book up again! I don't have a final title for it yet, but it is about the evidence of the existence of life after life. More specifically, it's about the 5 areas of study that I think are yielding scientific proof that our consciousness can exist outside our body – and what it means to us if we do accept that.
|
I hope the book will be helpful to those who want to know more about the facts out there that point to an afterlife while also being interesting to folks who already hold life after life to be true but want to strengthen their belief in a rational way.
|
I want to make this a priority project (it's long overdue!) and will be sharing my progress over the next few months. if you have any suggestions, please reach out!

What I am reading Where I am speaking I hope you have a great October and some fun during Halloween.
